The Messinia villas, which have been featured for over 20 years, are the best value villas with private pool on the Sunvil holiday programme to Greece and as a result of a special arrangement for 2018, the prices in for 2018 – with the exception of the 5 week period in late July/August – are between 7% to 10% lower than the 2017 prices.
Prices start at £743 per person for a 7 night holiday including return flights to Kalamata, car hire and a one bedroom villa (Erato) – based on 2 sharing, and from £633 per person based on 4 sharing a two bedroom villa (Theresa). These prices are cheaper than many studio and one bedroom apartments which have neither car hire or a private pool included.

The Messinia Villas are set in nearly 7 acres of mature gardens, trees and luxuriant vegetation on a hillside between the small seaside villages of Petalidi and Chrani (c. 10 minutes’ drive from each). They are the perfect choice for couples, friends and families looking for comfortable, well equipped villas in a peaceful location and at very affordable rates. A private pool (5m x 10m) at each property is an added bonus.

Their commanding position ensures quite wonderful views across the Gulf of Messinia to the Tagetus mountains of the Mani opposite. The nearest good beach, called Kalamaki, is only a mile distant and has a well liked taverna on it. There are two further tavernas on the coastal road below the villas, a 15 minute walk away (20 minutes back uphill!). The Sunrise Hotel is also to be found on the coastal road below the properties. More tavernas can be found in the coastal village of Chrani, a 10 minute drive away and a favourite with our clients.

Although a car is included, those that do not wish to drive can be transferred from the airport to the villas by taxi or can take the local bus from the airport towards Chrani and Koroni which stops at the Sunrise Beach hotel. Taxis can be booked from Chrani when necessary for provision shopping in either Chrani or Petalidi villages or for visits to beaches and Koroni.
